Flowres in the Reading Room (Photo)

Alumni gifts and endowments strengthen and preserve our collections, and enhance and maintain our building. Most of all, gifts and endowments allow alumni and friends to maintain a meaningful relationship with one of the finest and most beautiful law libraries in the country.

Specific endowments have included the following:

  • Collections in a specific subject area, for example, Foreign, Comparative, and International Law
  • Financial assistance to bring experts to the library and law school
  • Funds to add materials to a specific collection
  • Journal and online database subscriptions
  • Physical acquisitions, for example study carrels and desks
  • Fresh flowers, delivered weekly to the library from 1989 to 2011, to enhance the beauty of our reading room.
