A STARR Foundation Workshop
Cornell Law Library
Ithaca, New York.  USA October 7 -11, 2007

Dear Starr Workshop participants,
Radu Popa

We are looking forward to welcoming you to our part of the world. We have planned a program with a strong intellectual content, and many opportunities to practice your legal research skills in the computer lab. We are also looking forward to learning from you and hearing your presentations. In addition, we have planned special social and cultural events. Claire M. GermainThese include a short walk in a beautiful gorge, a visit of a world-renown museum of glass art going back to antiquity, wineries and scenic landscapes, and we will enjoy good food and camaraderie together.

The weather in Ithaca in early October is usually very nice, and sunny, with the tree leaves turning yellow, red, and gold. The temperature may be from the 50's to 70's Fahrenheit (8 to 22 degrees centigrade), and a sweater and jacket might be handy. Please dress comfortably, as you may want to walk around.

We want your stay to be the best experience possible for you, and we encourage you to write to us if you have any questions prior to your arrival.

Until soon!

Best regards,
Claire M. Germain and Radu Popa
